2-propyl-heptan-1-ol

2-propyl-heptan-1-ol or 2-PH for short is 100% produced from renewable sources. 2-PH is a versatile molecule that can be used, among other things, as an intermediary in fragrance, pharmaceutical, surfactant or plasticizer industries.

For example, DPHP, a plasticizer, can be produced from 2-PH, and is used to confer flexibility in PVC products.

2-PH can be ethoxylate to form non-ionic surfactants with a wide range of applications.
